How to connect the terminal to a Wifi network

Please ensure your Wifi network is available in the area. You can also use your smart phone to connect the terminal to the internet i.e. tethering or hotspot. Please take note that you will be charged separately by your Internet or Telecommunication service provider for using this network.

If you are using your smart phone for tethering or hotspot, please read here on how to turn on the wifi hotspot at your smart phone --> https://www.google.com/search?q=how+to+turn+on+wifi+hotspot&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8

Once the Wifi network is available, perform the below steps:

Step 1 - Turn On the terminal
Step 2a - At the main menu, tap on Setting --> then, tap on Wifi

Step 2b --> Enter PIN no: 9434
Step 3 - Next, tap on Access Point. A list of available network will be displayed. To go back to main menu, press Cancel button.

Step 4 - Select the network you want to connect to. Tap on the network name.
Step 5 - The network name highlighted. Then, press Edit.
Step 6 - Tap on OK. Enter the network password. Then, press "Done".
Step 7 - If all ok, a small yellow box will appear on the right hand side at the network name indicating it is now connecting to that particular Wifi network.

Step 8 - Then, go to the main menu.
Step 9 - On the top of the screen, an indicator "W" will appear.
Step 10 - The terminal will also start to connect with an indicator ST00.
Step 11 - If connection is successful, the ST80 indicator will disappear and the "W" will stop blinking.

If the ST00 and W indicator still appear, it means the terminal is not connecting. Please check your Wifi connectivity setup or password and also ensure that the Wifi network is available.

Note: The wifi indicator "W" and connection indicator "ST:01" will be blinking when there is no connection. However, the terminal can still be used even when offline.
